Call Of Duty World At War

After having played this game for nearly a month now im simply bored of it. I signed up to some French website to recieve a Beta Code. The weapons are amazing, Type 99's, Thompsons, Springfield, Bouncing Betties and event Bazooka's. To start with, the weapons seem over powered, i have learned that sometimes the pistol to the leg can kill, but a few Thompson rounds to a leg, barely injures the opponent. Believe it or not, maybe not, and no surprise, once again there are ALOT of french players, and with there confusing language and their top rank, they continue to glitch. I have only played on a total of 3 maps, quite fun maps, but they are boring after a while. When the game was first released, the rank was capped at 11, then they brought it up to 24, then 44. A big leap, but is all your play worth it? Will you have the same rank as when you actually first play the proper game? No. In my eyes, its the same game as Call of Duty 4, they really need to get a new engine for every game. Like Bethesda, the makers of The Elder Scrolls, used the same engine to create Fallout 3, its a complete new game, different weapons, different enemys and even a different Planet. But back to Call Of Duty World At War, Dont rush to buy it, wait to Christmas. I cancelled my pre-order, im not rushing to get it, there are far better games coming out.

Fable II

Ok, lets get started, the countdown has started for Lionheads Fable 2. Maybe the most looked forward to game for many. We have recently heard that Microsoft have let us down by anouncing that they have took out The Premium Box, The Fate Cards and the Hobbe Figure, but there will still be The Fable 2 Game Disc, a Bonus DVD and In Game Content For Xbox Live, But that only effects the special edition. If you were to get the Standard Edition, you will just get the game.

Now to the features, the first i will look at is Death. Instead of loosing your life and loosing unsaved progress, you now fall to the ground, loosing an amount of experience. The second feature i will look at is Family, Yes family, you can now have a wife or husband and have kids. If you are a male, you obviously wont be affected by pregnancy, but if you are a female and pregnant in the game, you will be rather weak and sometimes be unable to fight off enemys. When playing Co-op, your friend can steal your wife and kids, and even murder them. This now leads me onto the third feature, we all want to make a character as simlar to us or sometimes a character just for fun. You can make your character Good or Evil, Slim or Fat, Pure or Corrupt, Kind or Cruel and even Young or Old. My fourth point is Jobs, We all want as much money as possible to spend on our luxuries and needs. By getting a job in Albion, you can make as much money as you want, BUT if you follow the Main Questline you will not become a Hero, but doing jobs to help people you WILL become a hero. My Fith and Final point is A.I, this feature is what makes most games. For example, If you are chating up a Man or a Woman in the game and make a mistake, they will really hate you, but if you do everything perfectly, they will love you. Sometimes to impress people, you may have to use a button Combination, E.G , A,B,X,Y. If you get this correct it will result in a gift or something good, but if you miss buttons or do it wrong, it will result it something humorus such as a fart.

In my Opinion, Fable 2 wil be a Big Hit, it will also pay off for the hard work of nearly 5 years. I believe that this will be a Big contender for Game Of The Year.

The Next Gen Consoles

In 2005 Bills Big Bucks Released the Xbox 360 which cwas a giant leap for the gaming industry, preferably this is where online gaming took off from. When the console was actually released the sales where horendus because there were not very many games out.

In early 2007 the rip off Sony PS3 was released to the world with its sleek black design, why not white? The console was released with games from COD4 and Motorstorm. In a way the Xbox 360 was 'better' with its software, but the PS3 had a built in BluRay player. Most people where talking about how much better the PS3 was than the Xbox 360, but of course Big Bill got more Money than 'Wee Sony'.

Then came out the supposed 'Big Contender' the Wii. One of the silliest consoles ever, with Red Steel and Wii Fit. Not expensive for fun, But expensive for a turd.

In my opinion, Xbox 360 is in front then PS3 second and the Wii is hanging in there tagging along.

And once again, 'You'll never regret it if you get it'.....Wise words from Big Mac

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls' newest game 'Oblivion' has been a big hit forthe Xbox 360 Ps3 and Pc. The RPG which is set in 'Tamriel' (a random planet) threatned by The gates of Oblivion and its demons is the olden time Grand Theft Auto. The game its self is set in the province of Cyrodiil where you can create your very own character whether its a Nord ( a normal looking person) or some odd animal that walks on 2 legs and can fight. There are a wide range of weapons to choose from and you can use almost anything. You can buy Armour, food, wine, lockpicksand even plates. The quest begins where the emporer is murdered at his own palace, this is when you set out to find the emporers lost son, the only heir to the throne. The game has won 4 Best E3 awards in 2005. The latest plugin or DLC avilable for the game is Shivering isles, it is the first and most likely the only expansion for Oblivion, but this expansion includes additional Quests, Items and Places. In your spare time you can join the guilds wich allow you to upgrade your levels, the guilds are, The Mages Guild, The Thieves Guild and The Fighters Guild. Also one of my favourites is The Arena, this allows you to fight at different levels until you meet The Gray Prince who has been champion for over a decade.

Thats all i can sum up at the moment for this amazing game....

'If you buy this you'll never regret it'... Wise words from Big Mac.
